comparing these games is so funny bc its like saying "yeah i don't think strawberry cheesecake is as good as vanilla ice cream cake" (2 of my favorite sweets ever)

oh yeah hot take(tho theres a number of ppl who also feel this way) about ds3. almost everything in it is awesome so far...except the level design. its not bad at all tho, it just doesnt stick with me in the same way ds1, ds2, and bloodborne's levels do

i see so much nonsense when i just want to read strategies ppl have for bosses im stuck on, i dont want to see every other comment be like "oh my god i cant BELIEVE youre struggling, i FIRST TRIED THIS BOSS" like bro no one gives a fuck

i know theres more nuance to it ofc but the lazer focus on difficulty is what gets me i guess. also it is so dependant on the build you have + playstyle, everyones gonna have very different struggles lol. i dunno.

so weird that some ppl rate fromsoft bosses entirely on whether theyre Easy or Hard. but dont appreciate literally anything else like the design, atmosphere, or storytelling 😭 i know ppl can use whatever metrics they want for their opinions but Still

i dont know wtf is going on but ive experieced more jank moments in ds3 than any other fromsoft game so far. like its not a problem at all and i cherish those goofy moments but it just happens so frequently LOL

ive technically fought her in nightreign but its different when youre in a group of 3 and just bullying the hell out of her 😭

havent beaten her Yet but dancer is my favorite ds3 boss so far. the way she moves is so eerie and violent, yet elegant, and i love her crazy body proportions. and MAN, that ost!!

i actually dont like having access to teleporting immediately in souls games. i love the convenience but i have a worse understanding of the map and where things are bc of it. thats just me tho
