Primer coat done, and base rust layer applied. Next up is the chipping fluid layer then the real fun begins with painting and weathering. Weathering is my favourite part. I love the look of hyper-realistic abandoned vehicles and buildings. #ScaleModels #modelling #diorama

My first model in many years, a 1/24 scale tractor from MiniArt. I’ve been absorbing everything I can re the latest methods and techniques and built up a good stock of tools, paints and weathering materials.

A beautiful clear sky tonight. It’s quite incredible that just using an iPhone, handheld with a 10s exposure, I can get such a wonderful view of Orion.

I fear that too many world leaders are still not taking the Orange Shitgibbon seriously enough. His rantings may sound like those of a lunatic, but they are simply the blaring foghorn of a ship being steered by far more dangerous people, those who are the real puppet masters pulling the strings.

My first digital camera was a Kodak DC20. It seems laughable by today’s standards, but at the time, 1997/8 I believe, it seemed revolutionary to be able to take digital photos.

If there’s one thing you can say about the Germans in WWI, they knew how to do a damned awesome paint job on their planes.

Hello Lisa. Happy New Year to you too. We’re surviving. We finally got out of the house we were renting & into a new flat in my old home town of Letchworth. It’s a much better location, & it’s an assisted living facility so there are medical staff on hand for emergencies. It’s a great community.
