if you have a few coins hanging around, I know firsthand that these talented, ambitious, kind, and thoughtful publishing folks would put it to excellent use.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to edit this book with
@klschroeder.bsky.social, one that I fell in love with straight from the submissions pile. A quiet, aching story that radiates a love of all life while looking death, personal and species-wide, right in the eyes.

When I read this novella in submissions, I knew we had to have it. The story is dark and timely, focusing on damaged systems: bodies and planets, human and animal. We are more alike than not, every person a world being ravaged by changing climates: environmental, emotional.
