Yeah this is what works for me. Break sentences down into parts almost with pauses. Summarising afterwards to make sure we all understand and agree helps too. Takes more time to communicate than normal but less time than it does when people go away with the wrong understanding causing rework etc.

Yeah this is it. I work closely with colleagues overseas and the language barrier does cause problems but like you say they are speaking in my language because I cant speak in theirs. I find it helps to break everything down to very simple elements like im speaking with a machine lol.

We should but football is never that simple thats why you dont take risks. Emery always makes one or two many key changes in these situations like early rounds of cups etc and its bitten us on the ass too often now. You cant rest everyone in the same game you rest players one by one or 2 at a time.
