02.08.2025 20:02 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Thanks, mom & dad for dragging me to the parks as a kid. Made me appreciate ALL the stories of every person who helped to create and to question this nation. We shouldn't censor those stories. We should honor, celebrate, and recognize. #saveoursigns saveoursigns.org

I’m getting life from the Wisconsin old heads. This isn’t about disagreement. It’s about false claims and fascism. They want to divide us through fear. Thank you to these people for resisting.

Maybe a bit dry but worth a read if you are interested in why the @datarescueproject.org and others are so concerned about federal data.
I often get questions about the types of data the federal government produces. The federal government is mandated to collect data "describing or making estimates concerning ..., the economy, society, or the natural environment." People may not understand the breadth of what we can access.

When I first listened to this I could feel my heart race and anxiety build as if it were February all over again. This captures so well the emotion in addition to the volume of work.
