The FBI agent who sought to investigate the federal immigration officer who fatally shot Renee Good has resigned from the bureau, according to two people familiar with the matter, after leadership pressured her to discontinue a civil rights inquiry into the officer.

I assume there's some reason for saving these different settings in different locations/methods, but it creates an inconsistent & confusing user experience.

I assume window position is auto-saved in a config file, whereas specific number/slider settings only get saved via File --> Save Preferences or successful application quit.

I don't understand how Maya decides which settings to save in which locations. Maya crashed when I had the mesh Cleanup Options window open. When I re-opened Maya, it remembered the position of the Clean Options window, but not the settings I used within that window.

A friend in Minneapolis just sent me this video. Looks like thousands have come together for a vigil after an ICE agent shot and killed 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. This was my neighborhood for several years before coming to Portland.
