Small business owners like Angie and Vanessa should be able to get health care without going bankrupt. But if Congress lets vital tax credits expire, their premiums will go up by thousands.

I joined patients and providers at MC Medical Society today — together, we’re fighting to protect the ACA.

I visited Sky Harbor Airport with @repyassansari.bsky.social & @mayorgallego.bsky.social to check on frontline crews keeping travel safe while the Republican shutdown drags on.

We’re committed to negotiating a deal on healthcare to end this shutdown so employees don't work another day without pay.

Dropped by Sky Harbor Airport with cookies and coffee to say thanks to the folks helping keep the airport running.

From TSA and air traffic controllers to ground crews and custodians, thank you all for keeping Sky Harbor open, moving, and safe for travelers.

Americans want to see Congress keep their health care affordable.

The last thing people need right now is skyrocketing insurance prices. I’m committed to working across the aisle to keep costs down for families across the country.

The United States and our allies must continue to pressure Hamas to finalize a deal and return all hostages — living and deceased — so we can start building a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians.

This is a critical moment for Israel, the Palestinian people, and the region.

The hostages who have been held for more than 700 days will finally be reunited with their families. A lasting peace that ends the suffering of the Palestinian people and frees them from Hamas's rule is within reach.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says he'll swear in Rep.-elect Grijalva next week Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson said Thursday that he’ll soon swear in Arizona’s newest congresswoman, Adelita Grijalva.

Yesterday, the people of Arizona were promised representation next week. Now, Speaker Johnson backtracked again and said he's keeping the House closed next week too.

#AZ07 should not be stuck without federal support or a say in Congress any longer.

Another day, another delay from Speaker Johnson.

Southern Arizona deserves a voice in Congress now, not just once it’s politically convenient for the House GOP.

Administer the oath to Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva now.

Each passing day denies the people of #AZ07 representation and access to critical constituent services and advocacy.

The right to representation is more important than the ongoing effort by the GOP to hide the Epstein files.

Totally unacceptable that Speaker Johnson won’t swear in Adelita Grijalva immediately.

He refused to swear her in on Tuesday, and now he's refusing to swear her in tomorrow, though she is in Washington and stands ready.

Female vets fire back at Hegseth over claims of lowered military standards Federal law already prohibits gender-based standards for specific roles.

Men and women are held to same standard in their combat fitness tests.

Women soldiers routinely pass and exceed these standards and go on to bravely serve our country.

Don't disrespect their service.

2025 Government Shutdown The federal government may enter a shutdown beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, if there is a lapse in federal government funding.

I've gotten lots of questions about what a government shutdown means for you:

➡️ Will my mail get delayed?
➡️ Can I still visit the VA?
➡️ Will I get my social security?

I’ve answered all those and more for you on my website here:

USDOT will not enforce Biden wheelchair passenger protection rule The U.S. Transportation Department said on Monday that it will not enforce key provisions of a Biden administration rule issued in December requiring new consumer protections for disabled passengers using wheelchairs.

Cruel for no reason.

A damaged wheelchair isn't just an inconvenience, it’s a complete loss of mobility. This rule would make flying safer and easier for passengers with disabilities, including our disabled veterans.

@usdot.bsky.social should reverse course now.

If Congress doesn't act to renew health care tax credits, Arizona families will see their premiums skyrocket.

Doing nothing is not an option.

Congressional Republicans need to come to the table and negotiate a spending deal that puts a stop to their worsening health care crisis.

Democrats have a plan to stop it, but the House GOP won’t even sit down to talk.

Toxic fumes should never enter the cabin of an aircraft. Last year, Congress approved new safety rules to ensure they don't.
