He's the one capable of causing angst/tragedy/pain to others (depending on the situation). With the way his brain works, it's kind of impossible to cause him any meaningful pain or make him struggle, at least not mentally.

His character doesn't really deal with angst and tragedy, at least not for himself.
There are a few messed up things that happened to him that would maybe turn people sympathetic towards him but he seems completely unaffected by them. Plus he doesn't talk about them to anyone
