because there are things in the simulation that can’t be computed (nonsense). you can simulate a turing machine all you want. you just can’t prove certain properties of it ahead of time. I didn’t citation chase, but they cited Penrose on consciousness, which is widely considered kookery

Though it's true there's a 'Boomer bump' in early voters for the NYC mayoral election as reported by Gothamist etc., there's another large but less well-reported peak for voters in their late 20's and early 30's, as the data I got from the Board of Elections shows:

Artists Sarah Cassidy and Akiva Leffert worked together to turn an abandoned New York City subway newsstand into a "dinosaur bodega" art installation, complete with dinosaur-themed magazines, snacks and a "cave for rent" advertisement.
