I don't usually do OC birthdays, but this one has caught on for me. March 1st is Jasper Schoen's birthday!

The beautiful orange glow of the sun sets in the southern heart of the Fatherland. Illuminated in its warm, radiant hue are distinctive Munich landmarks. To the left, the historic Frauenkirche cathedral and the modern BMW Welt stand as icons of Munich's past and future. To the right, the Olympiaturm in the heart of Olympiapark München pierces the growing night sky. In the center of it all is Jasper Schoen, standing tall over the home where is heart truly belongs.

There is no place in the world that Jasper loves more than his beautiful home of Munich. He carries his pride of his hometown, state, and country with him everywhere he goes.

As a master of multiple martial arts disciplines, Luka is an extremely difficult fighter to isolate. He can flawlessly mix different styles together depending on the circumstances, and do it all with a smile on his face. He relishes the chance to fight a taekwondo master like Megumi, as it will show him his own flaws and provide some entertainment for the day.

It's a battle between Masters! Megumi heard from her student Renee that Dean's Sensei Luka was an exceptional martial artist and decided to see for herself. Now she can see where the cheetah's skill comes from!

Recently, Jasper made friends with a possum who is really into photography. Truth be told, he really likes this possum, even if he does not show it. But the smile captured here may give it away...

Dean (cheetah on the left) is about to show Elodie (cheetah on the right) that there's levels to BJJ. Her brother, Luke, talked up her skills, but now it's up to Dean to find out where her weak points are and help her refine her skills! Oss!

Dean's got a new student and fellow cheetah under his wing, and he's eager to teach her all he can about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! First things first, seeing if she can survive a five-minute roll!

This is an awesome piece, I wanna see more of Henry's taekwondo journey!

Henry as a teenager recites the five tenets of Taekwondo - Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. There is a great emphasis on never abusing his Taekwondo training, as Henry vowed he would never bully another person ever again.

Before becoming a boxer, Henry practiced Taekwondo. The story behind it will be told later, but to Henry, it was the decision that saved his life.

I drew this months ago, it's still one of my favorite Henry pieces. One day, I'll finish this picture by adding his teacher and martial arts brother. 🙂

Trying to look for some sailors, finding the Mad Angels, dancing with Tom the racist hot dog vendor, and working a 9-5 at the docks was certainly fun, especially with these four egging me on. Shoutout to: Taryn, who would not stop dunking on me for accidently feeding the stray cat a piece of fried tofu. Retehi, who demanded I spend all of my hard-earned Yen to feed his insatiable capsule toy addiction. AussieNeon/Sidney, for eating all of the chocolate and caramel I bought and stuffed into my pockets at the Tomato Convenience Store in hopes that my gambling would pay off. And Doc, for watching me attempt to run down the shipyard workers with my forklift. Shenmue 2 soon...

Playing through Shenmue for the first time was certainly an interesting experience, especially with four gremlins dragging me around Dobuita and the docks.

It's nice to train with a friend, especially when you get moments like this. I feel bad for the person holding the target pads, the heavy bag, and anything else in range of these flying kicks!

Is there anything more cinematic and badass than doing a flying side kick with one of your friends? Probably not, especially when said friend is a taekwondo master.

Ssgt Alaric Schoen is a member of the GSG-9, Germany's premier counter-terrorist unit. Don't let his smile and jovial demeanor fool you. That merely hides the spirit of a deadly operative who would put his life on the line to protect his homeland from all threats, foreign and domestic. He prefers to be pointman, leading with either a riot shield or his beloved MP5 submachine gun. He carries with him the traditional Schoen spirit of perfection, but he sees himself as a team player who rises the tide for his unit. He still prefers to listen to dubstep and EDM at unbearable levels, much to the chagrin of his teammates and Jasper.

Neo has to make up for his shorter frame with a jumping side kick to Dean's jaw! However, Dean's speed and height means that he's at least able to take Neo out of the air with a lightning-fast roundhouse kick! After the winner is decided, the two cats like to shed their gis and cool off by taking a nice, relaxing soak in the small natural pool at the base of the waterfall...

Biweekly, Dean and Neo look to truly test the boundaries of their skills by hiking to a reclusive waterfall and giving it everything they've got!
