Just realized I used the phrase "So, for a fun fact," two times in a row without realizing it. So, for a fun fact, I occasionally repeat myself unintentionally.

I get a little nervous about posting facts (scraping), but this is already on the internet, so here goes. There was this is one Dschinghis Khan fb post where Igei was called "former Captain Jack Sparrow." The use of the word "former" makes me wonder if there is more to the in-jokes than I think.

Been posting a lot about Igei recently (except for that last one), totally has nothing to do with watching the first PotC. His costume design's gotta be based on Sparrow. I just have a hunch.

Tried to make a feed. The amount of filtering I'll have to do to make it work is a lot more than I thought. And I'm not feeling great, anyways. Can't stop thinking about the future we're heading towards. The tech is certainly gonna make it ugly.

I've been looking through my old posts, and I'm very disappointed in myself for not saying "Jack (Sparrow) in the box." Somehow I missed the opportunity for a pun that obvious.

I don't like how there's pretty much only one place where Dschinghis Khan performances are put, and it's the one that years later would try to push "summaries," in my face. I know what it is? it's a Dschinghis Khan performance. No, google! Bad google! I don't want it!

I'm planning on making this account mostly Dschinghis Khan-focused, so I won't be reposting as much. I don't have a post schedule, I'll probably just talk about fun facts or make dumb jokes whenever.

Yesterday was Wolfgang's birthday, so I should've posted a fun fact. Before Dschinghis Khan, he was in the group Blue Heaven. There isn't a lot of info about them, they don't even have a wikipedia page.

It's Steve's birthday today. So, for a fun fact, he composed "Paß auf, der Drache kommt" for Dschinghis Khan. It was only ever performed twice. The first time was in 2005, and they had someone on-stage in a costume that looks like... this.

Apparently Ögödei spelled without umlauts has never been posted on this website. So, for a fun fact, his official fb account uses the "Oegoedei" spelling.

"Put baby in pelican mouth" doesn't directly state what animal the baby is. So... this applies.

I love the fact that Dschinghis Khan introduced Klabautermann to the public by performing it in some random house. Imagine you get a knock on the door one day and it's Dschinghis Khan in pirate outfits.

Hopefully this isn't necessary to say: Dschinghis Khan touring in Russia doesn't mean they support the Russian government or whatever. Regardless of politics, people deserve entertainment. The worst part is that the Khans might be put in danger because of local laws (ie. Chechnya's)

I'm not really a fan of the new youtube button icons. They tried fixing what wasn't broken, and in my opinion, it turned out worse. The rounded shapes make it look a little too juvenile, yknow?

It's been two years since I first discovered Dschinghis Khan. I've learned a lot since then.
The last two years have been filled with agony and peril, Dschinghis Khan has pulled me out of moments of misery.
