Allama Johar Brahui, a renowned writer of Brahui language and literature, a revolutionary of Brahui language, national poet and religious scholar, is no longer in this mortal world. His death has caused a great loss to the development and promotion of Brahui language and literature.

The Sanskrit word manah is present in the form "manha" in Brahui. Which means an open room made of wood and grass. In which air can easily pass through. Such houses are often owned by poor people in villages. This is a word of Dravidian origin.
