I'm listening to Mandi, OFPG, Kenna (Coyote & Crow) and others on this one. But I will chime in to say - two of my favorite publishers are from Spain. They produce games centered thematically around cultures not their own. And they manage to not use racist caricatures that were outdated 25 years ago

A highlight of Gen Con was meeting Gonzalo from @saltandpeppergames.bsky.social! Salt & Pepper is a go-to publisher for uncommon and historical themes done beautifully combined with intriguing clever mechanisms. Now I see why. Gonzalo is a ball of enthusiasm and so very smart.
