On a funnier note (and yes, I'm trying to stay positive), I received a call today to schedule my "annual wellness exam" 🙃 Yeah, they're a little late with that.

Just wanted to keep you all updated. I received the biopsy results back. It is colon cancer; however, it is the most common form and the least aggressive, and involves the lower part of my colon. I'm meeting with my Dr on Monday to discuss surgery options and whatever ongoing treatment this requires

This truly is quite the game.

ahh! a small fluffy ghost sits on a hardwood floor staring directly at us. but actually... the longer we take it in, the more cute the ghost becomes. one could even mistake this little guy for a golden retriever puppy wearing a sheet with eye, ear, and mouth holes cut out of it. even though he gave us a fright, we would still pet this ghost puppy.

I woke up at 4am in so much pain that I couldn't even move my leg, had to crawl to get to my meds so that I could at least go back to sleep. The shots wore off again. I don't want to have to keep going back and forth to the hospital because they can't manage a simple thing like sciatica. WTH, NM!

Mariners did their best. Great run, guys.

Glad he's home and doing better. Steroids make a big difference for humans and pets. Sometimes, we both need a little extra help.

It was such a gorgeous day today, perfect for getting out there.

So glad I went back to ER, HATED to do it. All better 👍 This time they really took care of me, Dr was wonderful and knew his stuff. The shot made me high AF, but they wouldn't let me leave until I was out of pain completely. Steroids were the answer.

I did a virtual visit with a dr this evening. I need to go in for a steroid shot and set up physical therapy next week. They also put me on a little bit stronger muscle relaxer. I see leg weights in my future, but PT always helps.What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right? Ugh.

Unfortunately, the Toradol shot and beclofen didn't work for more than a day, the pills make me feel wonky & I don't like feeling that way. I'm in so much pain again, I'm looking up what to do when those meds don't work. I've never had sciatic nerve pain like this. I can't walk. Back to ER, I guess?
