Thank you to the Shenandoah Dems VA for hosting me last night. It was good to connect and discuss my path to Congress. I look forward to these opportunities and will collaborate with voters, stakeholders, and Virginia's 6th Congressional District Democrats as we march towards the election.

February is Black History Month - a time to celebrate and reflect on the contributions and hardships so many have faced and continue to face. I will be reading and amplifying black voices throughout the month. I hope you join my efforts to make this month meaningful.

Every American deserves representation in Washington. When I am in Congress, I will vote in favor of the Admission Act to give Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico their right to be heard.

On the first full day of Hanukkah, I am sending my best wishes for a happy and peaceful celebration. My heart is heavy for those who are mourning this holiday or celebrating with fear in their hearts. -KM

I had the honor of laying wreaths in Berryville as part of Wreaths Across America. As I look back on my service in the Army, I am thankful for the courage, strength, and pride that makes our armed forces so remarkable. This year, 85 veterans were honored with wreaths for the first time. #veterans

With yesterday's failed healthcare vote in the Senate, 6th district residents are once again stuck between two bad options: face another damaging shutdown or miss out on critical subsidies because their Congressman won't lift a finger to secure them.

Let's call the Republicans' move to devalue professional degrees what it is - an attack on women. The fields hit the hardest are all dominated by women. We need leadership that will tear down barriers, not put more up. -KM
