I was heavily inspired by @peachytips.bsky.social’s texture work on his mini’s cloth that I got to see in person at AdeptiCon. It adds so much more to otherwise flatter areas.

First test model for my personal @trenchcrusade.bsky.social force of Heretic Legion. Wanted a more Grimdark look than I usually do but still with a pop of color to stand out on the table.

I’m happy with the sketchy look I went with on the cloth. That’s new for me 😊

Very excited for the new ODST stuff for Halo: Flashpoint, it even comes with a Buck model!

The Fantastic Four was very… okay.

Cool middle action sequence. About it. This one definitely comes in third for me for summer blockbusters, behind JP and Superman.

This Spartan better take it easy, looks like he has one hell of a Concussion (rifle).

Also, I really hope the Scouring isn’t another 20 year long series. I’m excited it getting told, as there are a lot of good stories to cover from that time, but please make it a more manageable size. Like Dawn of Fire size, or even 20 books max.

My favorite bit of that new Scouring artwork is Raldoran trying his best amongst all the Primarchs. “Yupp, I run the Blood Angels now. Definitely fit in here…”

I didn’t watch the live stream, did they give any hints on when these are coming and if there’s anything more that wasn’t revealed yet?

Question for peeps who know more about the new Heresy edition than me: Can Cataphractii still take power weapons and can Death Guard characters still take scythes?

Finished up the Gungnir from the Halo:Flashpoint War Games box recently. Fairly hard model to photograph.

I went with a more standard Spartan green on this guy but decided to try a different shade of green than my 2 other green ones.

Kind of want to try some urban digital camo on my next one…

Finished up the first member of the Wargames team. Picked this model to start with because I had a clear idea of what I wanted to do with the color scheme.

I spent a bit more time on him then a lot of my other Spartans, but less than Chief.

I painted up the Master Chief himself the other week, with a bit more time and effort put into him than the other Spartans have received. I’m really happy with how he came out and am looking forward to using him in some games of Halo Flashpoint.

I finally finished up the second Fireteam from the Spartan edition of Halo Flashpoint, Fireteam Hydra.

I did a few conversions on them including giving 2 of them unhelmeted heads courtesy of some 40K Guard kits, and making one look like a certain member of Noble Team.

Lewis Jones you just GET it.

Unsure, but these are the 28mm versions of the original 54mm Death Cult Assassins from Inquisitor

Seems like a reasonable amount of time to me…
