Damn I didn't know that, thanks! Yeah I ended up blocking them on discord but on bsky they already deleted their account before I could block it. It's sad cause the person really looked like a legit artist with common mutuals and stuff. Maybe they got hacked themselves :(

Cause I ignored them and then blocked them on discord but they deleted their BlueSky account before I could report or block. It's so weird, am I the only one who ever experienced this?

They approached me in DMs and seemed a legit artist but they request to chat on discord and they don't send any proof of the impersonator, and they just shared fake email screenshots of bluesky threatening to permanently ban me. It didn't yet get to the point of them sending me shady links or emails

This may be a weird post but I'm just curious to see if anyone else experienced the following thing on bsky: have you ever had someone tell you that someone is impersonating you to scam people but that they accidentally reported you instead and ""need your help to appeal it""? It seems like a scam
