Every time I write a new song I think

“I’ll never be able to write something this good again”

Then I write something new and think

“This is so much better than anything I’ve written before”

Idk how long I can keep it up for but it’s encouraging to see myself continuously improving

Like Canada! We’re not doing so hot right now either. Probably worse than the states in a lot of ways.

Yeah I’ve sees that a bunch too. I think it’s mostly just “hooks” for TikTok’s.
We’re in an attention war so whatever is gonna get people to stick around gets used again and again in ways that sound fresh and exciting.

Been watching all the marvel movies in chronological order with my gf.

I’m just trying to make what I can as best as I can.
I don’t think of genre or worry if people will like it. It’s just what happened when I sat down to write.

This has happened to me a handful of times, I’m never quite quick enough to properly learn what my dream self was playing before I forget it though.
Still a very cool experience every time!
