$105 Million Reparations Package for Tulsa Race Massacre Unveiled by Mayor

More than a century after the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, one of the most horrific episodes of racial violence in U.S. history, the city’s mayor announced a $105 million reparations package on Sunday. It is the first large-scale plan committing funds to address the impact of the atrocity.

Tell them that you want #transport #choice.

If our councillors , like @AdamWyse and @JimDarcy and now unelected, fre-stoking@Mattshanahan truely wanted to improve our transport choices, for #health, #safety, #cleanair, and #affordable travel, they would be standing-up for #activetravel

Traffic in & around Waterford 70% for journies up to 8 km, & and 70% of those vehicles carry just 1 passenger.
We need more #choice to walk or wheel those 8km and less.
Children need to be able to chose to walk or whel to school.
When we see traffic jams, the vehicles in the jams are the cause.
