My poor car took a rock to the face this morning on the way into the office. It’s always on the way to the office… such an awful stretch of road… at least everyone in the car is safe though. Really hoping I won’t have to pay a lot to fix it.

My head is not in a work space today and it’s very hard to make it do the work for some reason. I just want a cozy play games and relax day.

It has been a busy weekend so far, but it’s been good. I am looking forward to future possibilities with the most recent developments.

I have never been so happy and so terrified at the same time

Trying to drag myself back to a better place despite my crappy job. I’m just hanging on until better things come my way anyway - which are hopefully in the works. Which means SELF CARE. And enjoying the fun things like FE which is coming up. I am going to have fun dammit.

I have been so bad at being social. But I accept that I am depressed and have been chronically tired and chained to work for months. I miss vacation, wonder and happiness. I’ll even accept the pain my feet felt.

Also went to Uji and had a lovely tea ceremony. The tea and wagashi were so tasty!

We climbed a heckin’ mountain yesterday. Went all the way to the top of Fushimi Inari Taisha, on Mount Inari. Beautiful scenery, even if getting to the top is an intense workout

Had an adventure yesterday full of deer, delicious food, fish, and a giant Ferris wheel.

Been too busy to post anything here. There’s been so many interesting and beautiful things and sights and everything. We hardly have any days off, and while it hurts my feet a lot I don’t want to miss anything. Bonus, pretty sure with all the walking I’ll lose weight.

Tokyo at night is a vibe. It’s so surreal that we’re even here.

Packing tonight, final packing tomorrow, and then flight on Wednesday. The jitters have set in. How does one pack for such a big trip but also not overpack?

Just one day. Just gotta get through today and then I get almost a month off. Have to remember to get all my stuff delegated to my coworkers while I’m gone.

Two more days (including today). And then vacation. I can do this. I just need coffee. All the coffee.

So close to the start of my trip. Very much looking forward to a nice long break away from work. But first - appointments for my feet to hopefully help with pain.

Slowly getting things set up here, but also panicking because soon there will be airplanes. Maybe I’ll try to draw myself a banner on the plane… I’ll have plenty of time to do that…
