This goes DOUBLE for anyone who claims that certain foods can only be prepared a certain way or that certain ingredients "don't belong" with/in/on certain foods.

Congratulations. You've outed yourself as a culinary fascist.

What next? You gonna tell those ingredients to sit at the back of the bus?

Speaking both as someone who went through his own "edgy self-proclaimed critic" phase with a "holier-than-thou" mindset and as someone with 6 years of experience working in mental health care...

Don't be a simple prick and bleed someone's creativity out. Be a sewing needle who lends a mending hand.

The quickest way to kill someone's passion for something is to criticize their efforts without any sort of constructive input.

If you feel like someone could do better at something, tell them what they did WELL and where they could IMPROVE rather than being a self-righteous Doug Walker wanna-be!

Listen, I'm all for dunking on sh** that's actively harmful (i.e. AI dubs, TERF collabs), but when it comes to food can we PLEASE stop yucking other people's yums? I'm SO tired of seeing judgy/bitter takes on other people's cooking, and I'm a rantsona!
