Senate GOP Ramps Up Attacks On COVID Vaccines Amid FDA Push Sen. Ron Johnson’s Wednesday hearing on myocarditis was an anti-vax spectacle.

Anti-vax is now the mainstream GOP position.

They’re starting with COVID jabs because they’re new. And media has been willing to carve out an exception for skeptics of the COVID jabs as though they’re not anti-vaxxers.

But they are and they’re coming after all vaccines.

Trump nominates vicious opponent of public health Jay Bhattacharya to head the NIH Bhattacharya’s appointment is a clear signal that the ruling class aims to demolish the last remnants of public health still standing after five years of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Trump's plans to eviscerate public health, epitomized in the nominations of Bhattacharya & RFK Jr, will provoke enormous opposition. This must be developed into a conscious struggle for socialist public health, uniting workers & principled scientists globally.

Another way of framing it:

Bhattacharya and his Great Barrington Declaration co-authors were providing scientific cover for an economic agenda supported by right-wing business interests.

They wanted mass infection of the population to keep the economy rolling. They never cared about the elderly.

Ashish Jha was selected by Biden to be the “Covid Response Coordinator” precisely because he supported the pro-corporate GBD policy of mass infection. It’s no coincidence that he’s now endorsing Trump’s ghouls.
