there were also some suoer suoer cool collages they almost looked like digital photo edits

some of the art at the exhibtion is insane one dude did a blsck qnd white piece of fineliner pen drawinfs wirh super geometric patterns the smalleest pen was 0.03 his hand must have been destroyed after doig thst

i ended up joining the echibiton i felt more chill sbout it after talking more with people its okay i ended up displauing just the one combined piece but yhere would have been space to put all of them

i need to join a prooer focused art community that i can join in on themed events or something to encourage me to draw more or give ideas

i dont consider myself an artist just a dude who enjoys drawin

i need o get back yo drawing and posting shitty doodles and stop any high concept or full drawings that will never loook/feel exactly how i imagined them then maube ill feel morecomfu with people seeing my art (though prob not irl still) mb

but anywa i feel like i cant do animey stuff for 'normies' esp actual art art people

(also my brother is amazing at giving over the shoulder advice pinpointing exactly which bit of a pose is looking too stiff or wrong after just a glance but unfortunately he doesn't live here anymor)

so far its really only been my online friends whi have seen my art so rhey already know whats up and often they get what im going for so can give v helpful critiques

showing peiple your art is so scary

at least online people can choose to say nothing or act like they havent seen it you cant do rhat in real life

showing art face to face feels ungenuine cause i know they can see me looking at their reactuon wbat are they supposed to say

also also and and (neverending ramble) I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I NEED TO 'SANITISE' MY ART FOR PEOPLE IRL i feel cringe showing my anime art or any gore esp in front of fine art pekple

*** i kind of feel stressed and forced to draw tbh but once i start i get really into it and enjoy it ive drawn more in the last week that i have jn years

im also having a good time actually drawing***

even if i had nothin in the event i woulf still love to attend and i really like seeing everyones art

ugh i just feel gross i guess about everuthing

also also also ,,,,, a 3rd of participants woild need to book time off of work in order to steward the event and i already feel so stifled by how little time i get off work i feel like i cant book time off in case i get to a point where i need a day off and have no time left

most folks are adding a price to sell their art too which i dont think i would do i was even thinking about giving out mini versions for free if it wasnt too expensice (hoigh maybe put like a donation link??? but i wouldnt want to put pekple off taking free bits)

also also kinda feel like im taking away a space from soemone who is actually tryinf to get their foot im the door for getting people to see their art

then theres also the fact that i habe never trued printing my art and have no idea how to go about doing it except that the new drawings ive done are higher resolution than normal

also most peiple are entering one piece but i wanted to enter a collection of 4 small ones sikce i feel just one of my pieces is not good enoguh for it
