It has been 40 years since the cloning of the VWF gene was published. Very fitting that the ISTH SSC is focusing this year’s talks on the role of genetics in VWD. Names of so many giants in VWD science who mentored all of us who continue the scientific and clinical work today. #isth2025

I don’t know about the fexofenadine, but my allergist had me on cetirizine 10 BID along with montelukast for a while. Once I started Xolair, I was able to drop the montelukast and eventually get to cetirizine 10 daily, but 10 BID held me for quite a while.

I was at dinner last night in Phoenix, and a guy walked by the table, stopped, and then said I must be from the south because I had ordered chicken tenders with a side of mac & cheese. You can take the boy out of the south… #comfortfood
