Confederate statue toppled during Black Lives Matter protests will be reinstalled The statue of Albert Pike, a Confederate general and Freemason leader, was vandalized and taken down on Juneteenth in 2020. It is the only statue of a Confederate general in Washington, D.C.

Proud Boys sue DOJ: Will taxpayers be forced to pay millions to extremists? The suit leans into the far-right conspiracy theory that the prosecutions under the Biden administration were politically motivated.

Leaders of the Proud Boys, pardoned by Trump, sued the USG for prosecuting them for their #Jan6 actions. Despite what some experts say are dubious legal grounds, there’s a real concern the DoJ will settle – setting a dangerous precedent.
