Many people in tech see vibe coding as a replacement for design tools like Figma.

I see vibe coding as a replacement for prototyping tools.

How and when designers use tools like Figma may change but there is still value in crafting the visuals and layout of an experience before building it.

If you “create” art through AI you are nothing but someone who commissioned a piece of art through prompts.

Art is created by hand, it has imperfections and it is defined by the experiences that shaped the minds of those who create it.

If you think AI product design starts and ends with a chat experience you are actively ignoring decades of what we have learned about user behavior in what is now called “traditional UI”. Not ever product should be centered around conversational UI.
