Super foggy out so of course im listening to the Silent Hill 2 OST. I used to edit out the heavier and scary songs but now I've heard it so many times I appreciate the sequencing and flow of the tracks. Absolutely my favorite OST of all time

Consoles need to be a good value or have unmatched and cutting edge tech. I hate that they could possibly fall back into exclusivity to sell systems.

I felt guilty wanting to watch A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms last night because I wasn't using my pc every waking moment. I have other interests and I don't want to feel obligated to use it 24/7. Also its kinda wasteful as I didn't have plans for my old pc yet.

Gaming is one of my passions but I need to stop pining for the latest and greatest and get the most out of the tech I buy. Run it until the wheels fall off, as they say.

Now I'm anxious for the money to get back on my card (not out of need but more of a reminder of my mistake). No judgment to anyone who makes big purchases or honestly even myself for this.

I went back to Micro Center with my tail between my legs and I feel a bit better about it all. Gotta reinstall windows on my old pc and give it a tune-up and some love.

Was it that much better than what I have now? I have a 3080 build which can't max stuff anymore. This can but would it absolutely revolutionize my enjoyment of the games I have? I don't think it would past the weekend.

My friend came over on launch with his Xbox to play re9 and side by side sure the 5090 blew it out of the water. But you know what? After 10 minutes of looking around the game was immersive and it sort of started to make me regret my obscene purchase a bit

It maxed cyberpunk, Alan wake, re9 at 4k 120fps with (dlss and frame gen) and absolutely a smooth experience. I showed it off to a few friends which was fun but I was embarrassed about the price

Made a sizeable impulse purchase of essentially my dream PC and while it absolutely did live up to my expectations, I just didn't feel right about the purchase.

These past couple days have been kind of a dream and I'm about to snap back to reality soon. Just hoping it's not too much of an over-correction

I had a 5 day mini-vacation that kinda came together out of nowhere and it was insanely packed with time with friends, games and music. A lot of stuff to think about for sure.

It's so good. Fun to watch and to play. Excellent enemy and level design. Voice acting is incredible from both the protagonists and zombies. Disgusting gore. I'm excited to play more.

I watched my buddy play through the first 5 hours of the game or so (he was taking his time) and I am diving in now to Resident Evil Requiem and it's so freaking good. All the best parts of the RE engine games.

Alan Wake 2 keeps being awesome. A few ideas that didn't land for me in Control are really hitting the mark for me in this one. I think it might simply be a setting and tone thing. Love the Pacific Northwest, off-kilter resort town and their mixed-media approach. So many fun moments.
