Spent today blocking out the first area of my horror game, a room in a rural inn in the English countryside.
Just grey boxes right now, but I already know which corner is going to make people uncomfortable.
No assets yet, just shapes and a lot of notes.

Being a solo game dev is planning your whole game perfectly in your head, then never write it down.

Things take time to do.
Ans if you want them done well, they take even longer.
Short, organised work sessions will help you finish your game better than long sessions without direction.
Instead of working on what you "feel like", do the smallest task that will move your project foward.
You don't need more time. Organize the one you already have.

Today I'm starting to add some life to my horror game inicial area.
Jane, the main character, wakes up in this room at the start of the game,
with no memory of how she got there!
For now, just doing a better bed model (still WIP)
