I think this is pretty obscure, or at least I'm the only person I know who watched it, but I loved this series. Watching the main character and her family process in different ways, plus wacky reaping shenanigans.

Security guards. Police. National Guard. Whoever is coming between people and the resources they need to survive. We as a society need to get to a place where we recognize that the armed guards stopping hungry people are the ones committing violence, not the hungry people.

As a society, we need to get ourselves to a place mentally where we acknowledge that armed guards (police or private security) stopping hungry people from accessing food is an act of violence, while hungry people doing what is needed to take that food despite guards is defense.
