We come bearing some sad news today. Over the past few months, management has been behind the scenes discussing the future of Everlight. This Monday, we reached an agreement that collectively, we no longer have it in us to continue running Everlight. Between IRL engagements, changes in the state of the RP community, and our own personal interests shifting, we have come to an impossible decision. As of today, we will be closing Everlight's doors indefinitely. I promise, this decision has not come lightly, and we have worked hard behind the scenes up until now to find ways to make Everlight run in a way that works for us. Ultimately, we have decided to put our energy into other endeavors that better align with our changing needs and wants within the RP and XIV community. While this is goodbye for Everlight for now, we want to thank you for all your patronage over these past few years. In the three years we have been open, the Everlight community has grown into something we never could have dreamed of. We are so thankful to have been a part of it, and for you all to have joined us on this journey. So thank you. Be kind and love each other. With all the gratitude we've gathered for over three long and wonderful years, Thank you. We could never have done this without you.

Some addendums and housekeeping, The Everlight Discord will remain open for now. We have gleaned the channels down to the necessities, and while we will continue to moderate this server like normal, for long as it remains open, we will do so from a quieter position. All of our wonderful staff have been given Alumni roles in thanks for all the time they've devoted to us. And a Very Special Thank You to Mugen Ryu, who has been with us from the start. :yellow_heart~1: Our carrd will not be taken down, but changed into a memorial for Everlight. Most importantly, If Everlight will ever be resurrected, it will be by us Managers. At this time we are NOT in agreement to hand it off to anyone. Any offshoot that has not been created by us has been not approved by us.
