The only thing I would change about my surgery is telling them I want to listen to “Going Under” by Evanescence while being put under anesthesia. I missed my chance to be the funniest person getting surgery that day 😔

(This is not a flex, I genuinely should probably see a therapist about it but I would lose the manic sparkle in my eyes!!)

My surgery case manager being like “You should schedule calls with friends to make sure you don’t get too lonely during the healing process, what do you do for fun?” And my answer being “Sit in my house alone 😐” Do NOT underestimate my power to maladaptive daydream for hours on end 😤
