We have learned that at least four of the soldiers killed in the Iran attacks were assigned to an Iowa unit operating under the 1st Theater Sustainment Command out of Fort Knox. We grieve with the families of the lost and hope they know that Kentucky cares for and supports them.

America, let’s join together and pray for the families of the now six soldiers killed in attacks by Iran — including those based out of my home state, Kentucky. Let’s wrap our arms around them during this difficult time.

Gotta always support our Kentucky teams, even when it's against my alma mater. Great game to all who played!

We have 36 governors' races this year. Let's elect Democrats who will lower costs, expand access to health care, and work for the American people instead of against them. 2/2

Gov. Abigail Spanberger asked the right questions this week: "Is the president working to make life more affordable? Is the president working for you?"
The answer is no. 1/2

The President's State of the Union Address confirms one thing: He isn't listening to the American people. Families are struggling, not enjoying some "golden age." And he didn't protect Medicaid – he gutted it.

Tariffs are bad for Americans and our economy, and the President does not have the authority to impose them. Don’t take my word for it – look at the Supreme Court’s ruling. It’s time to roll the harmful tariffs back and stop costs from continuing to rise.

During a time when our country feels divided, I pray that God grants us the wisdom to see the power of kindness. Random acts of kindness can bring a smile, change a life, and bring positive change. More than anything, it's what our world needs right now.

Today we honor those who served as President of our great country and have kept their oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Elected by the people and for the people, this role should be carried out with pride, dignity and respect for every American.

At this moment in our history, how we conduct our business today will determine how future Americans view us. I hope and pray that God grants us the wisdom to see beyond the anger of today’s politics to the possibility and promise that tomorrow holds.

The post last night by President Trump about former President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama is racist, hateful and does not represent our country. This reprehensible rhetoric has no place in America — and certainly no place in our White House.

After a year of division and unimaginable challenges, it’s important that we remember the legacy and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King showed us the way – and we must keep pushing forward together until the moral arc of the universe bends toward justice for all.

I believe health care is a basic human right, yet Congress is denying Americans access by choosing not to extend ACA tax credits to make coverage affordable. The result? 1.4 million fewer people enrolled in ACA coverage this year.
That's 1.4 million American lives more at risk.

Food Prices Were Stubbornly High Last Year
Affordability isn’t a hoax – it’s very real to those who are struggling to put food on the table. My proposed budget provides record funding to food banks to ensure no one goes hungry.
