Today I got to hold a stack of proofs of my debut book Outrage. It’s about the LGBTQ+ community and how people can do more and better to advocate for rights and equality being stripped.

It’s out January 2025, the month Trump is inaugurated. It’s never felt so painfully necessary.

Living so remotely.

I am so sensitive to sound as an autistic person. I really do struggle with overwhelm because of the abundance of it. I go outside here and it's healing in a way I can't describe. I don't need my ear defenders. It's just peace. I do love living in populated areas. But I get why people can be happy

Carefully curated vegetable patch as soon as my back is turned. But it's so lovely here. I'm going to a lobster hatchery and to see some of my favourite sculptures. Every view from this house looks like the most beautiful oil painting. When the birds chill out, it's so utterly silent outside.

I am currently in a cottage in the middle of nowhere in Cornwall and it's chaos. There are at least 5 different types of birds doing choir practise outside my window. The lady who owns the bigger cottage attached is rehearsing her community play about vibrators, my dog keeps trying to poo in her..
