I am so lucky to have a partner that will sit with me to write a list & prioritize my tasks. This might sound silly, but by helping my through my to-do list he really helps keep me from falling down a stress spiral.

Just did the math, and I have recieved a Summons for Jury Sevice roughly every two and a half years since becoming an adult. IS THIS NORMAL???? I don't think I know a single adult who has recieved as many Summons as I have, and know even fewer who have had to report to potentially serve as me.

Ther was another summons in either Cook or Alameda where I had been summoned less than a year prior, so I was allowed to legally say no thanks.

And now I'm supposed to report to the Maywood Court, which somehow feels EXTRA insulting because I got married in that exact same courthouse this spring.

Cook County- FOUR(?) TIMES

Once I had to report to the Criminal Court Building on 26th, but wasn't called to serve

Once I was told I didn't have to report because they had enough jurors

Once I had to report the the Daley Center downtown, but wasn't called to serve

I know I have been summoned in:

McLean County- wasn't a full time resident at the time, so I didn't have to report

Alameda County- had to sit for jury selection, but was recused because I couldn't afford to take 6-8 weeks off work for a murder trial as I was the only person in my house with a job.

I don't know what the fuck I did kharmically to deserve this, but I just recieved my SEVENTH jury summons in my adult life.

I just realized that my parents had to raise an autistic Capricorn. Proud of them for surviving the nightmare that was me. Especially because their second child is a Gemini. We're a disaster.

I just info-dumped on some dumb Trumper who tried to argue with a janitor from my high school, because I DO NOT FUCKING CARE and will also delete my post the second it causes me any stress- you're an idiot, you're being rude to an incredibly kind woman- argue with the wind, eat shit. Fuck you.

TODAY- the street I live on is getting resurfaced, which means my entire house is screaming, glasses have been clinking together all morning, and I can feel and hear the rumble of the machinery all the way to the back of my apartment. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A MOMENT OF FUCKING PEACE?!!

For the last two weeks, every day I've had off of work there has been a handyman resurfacing the front door to our building. Which has meant a penetrating whine throughout my entire apartment for an entire day, because I live on the ground floor.

Is there anyone else who is so good at accidentally lucid dreaming that when they crawl into bed the next night, they have to actively try to dissuade last night's demons so they can get a better night of rest??

I sound like such a dorky emo baby in this post, but I don't have better words for it.

Today I got a concrete diagnosis that I am both Autistic and have ADHD. And while it feels like this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone- it is also as shattering to my identity as realizing I was trans. I both know myself more deeply than ever, but also wonder if I ever knew myself at all.

Let me know if you need help and/or another trans person to show art or read thoughtful things! I could also potentially put you in touch with the people who are running ResonaTe now if you wanted to include an all trans choir.

Being around queer, and especially trans people, makes me happy in a way that I can barely describe to cis people.
