Absolutely.

Unlike the village dlc that lets you play that in third person, requiem made sure both styles are correct and tuned

Most of the guns seem to have an execution that will pop off if the enemy is at low enough health and you’re close enough to them.

Still not 100% on how it triggers, but just in this second playthrough, it has popped up more than it ever did in third person.

Dualsense Vibration adds a whole new dimension compared to Xbox lol

I imagine there’s definitely some differences under the hood. Much like how Grace stumbles around in Third Person but doesn’t in FP.

Started my second playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem and flipped Leon to First-Person mode.

Need to do more testing, but parrying and Gun Executions seem far easier to execute in this mode compared to 3rd person.

Puzzles for big fan are going to be a low point. There aren’t many and they’re pretty easy.

Exploration is good, but there are more linear areas as well. It’s a good balance there.

Literally had the day off and have been playing since 6AM. No lifed if it lol.

Finished Resident Evil Requiem

Feels amazing playing a new Resident Evil game that rewards those who have played the entire series up to this point.

So many cool references and callbacks. Not to mention a great blend of Horror & Action campaigns.

A Must-Play.

My God, Resident Evil Requiem has so many moments that make me giddy as a long time fan.

It’s doing a ton of stuff I would’ve never expected. Parts of this game feel like they were made directly for me.

Looks like Capcom listened to the feedback of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s “Yellow Paint” Discourse.

Yellow is still used to highlight objects (good). But their usage is much more natural instead of there being a mad painter on the loose.

It definitely does. No worries there.

Currently playing Resient Evil Requiem and just have to say the dynamic of having both Horror & Action campaigns is amazing.

Remember that joke about “What if Chris was in the regular RE7 campaign”?

Requiem basically made that reality lol.

One thing I noticed in Resident Evil Requiem is smart asset reuse.

You’ll see a few civilian NPCs at the start of the game wearing the jackets Ethan & Rose had in RE: Village.
