Workers in the process of getting suited up to spray chemicals

This farm worker crew works under UFW contract in the Coachella CA area. "We're getting ready to apply chemicals necessary to grow the dates. Our UFW contract means that we are given the correct protective suits and other protections when we must work with chemicals." #WeFeedYou

I wrote the following for Adam Smith. I can just cut and paste!

More blather. What has Congress done about every president's illegal war in my entire lifetime? Funded them. What will they do this time? Fund it.

BTW, give back that Palantir $, you warmonger.

My congressman "opposes" these strikes.

He's also the senior Democrat on Armed Services who takes money from Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon. He votes for every bloated defense budget that builds the bombs now falling on Tehran.

This war like every other war in my lifetime is unauthorized by Congress + therefore unconstitutional. Yet Congress has allowed Republican + Democratic presidents to wage illegal wars for decades.

In case anyone wonders if we ever really lived in a "nation of laws" or how we got where we are today.

It’s tough to muster outrage when I literally can’t count the number of times in my life I’ve woken up to news that a US president has ordered the military to attack another nation. Gotta be at least once every year, on average.

The number of times Congress has β€œdeclared war” in my lifetime? Zero.

There was an ICE raid in Lake City shortly after midnight. They reportedly took a family with a small child.

So far, most ICE activity in the city proper has been concentrated in North Seattle, but there have also been many raids in Renton and South King County.

"Saul" is hard at work in the Coachella Valley keeping the mango trees free of weeds. This is important as it prevents competition for essential water and nutrients that could effect future fruit yield. #WeFeedYou

The cat may be out of the bag. But in a just society (not ours) a lawsuit would see all the authors and creators become the very, very rich owners of the corporations that stole from them.
