Most combos will be pretty simple, but I'm throwing in a few for the sickos. I can't even do a bunch of these consistently

Overall, it's still a great action movie, can't go wrong with watching this. I'd like to see more movies done in this universe for sure, especially if it's more willing to try new things.
I'd say it's a decent 7/10. I wanted more from it but was definitely enjoyed what it presented.
Regardless though i will say, this movie did surprise me a fair few times, it had plenty of moments that were staples of the franchise only to sort of throw in a new twist or surprise action scene where you wouldn't expect it, which was really fun, kept me on my toes.

08.03.2026 01:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0However I almost wish it went a little more in it's own direction, it feels a little too bogged down by john wick himself, even having him appear several times, instead of letting itself stand apart and open up the franchise further, because this world is ripe for expanding further.
08.03.2026 01:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Eve is a solid character, her motive being based on revenge is fitting for this franchise as it's what started the whole saga. Unlike John though she doesn't have the mystique or legendary status surrounding her, which isn't bad it's a different side of the series
08.03.2026 01:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0this movie definitely has some memorable moments, such as the Flamethrower battle (the guy setting his own foot on fire to attack back was insane and I loved it), but unfortunately It really doesn't come close to the other main series set pieces in terms of creativity or sheer coolness.

Action wise this movie is still fantastic, a John Wick movie for action to me is almost like a slasher movie is for Horror.
The story may be fine, but really you're watching this kind of movie for one thing, for slashers it's the kills for John Wick it's the fantastic and creative action set pieces
More movies! This time it's Ballerina: From the World of John Wick.
A spin-off set between John wick 3 and 4, following a member of the ballet assassin group introduced in the main John Wick franchise. Has plenty of solid and great action, but is maybe the weakest of the franchise overall.
WOAH HELL YEAH

Overall ridiculous, over the top anime movie with mechas and fire powers and everything. It's a fantastic spectacle and I was constantly amazed by it.
Strong 9/10. Truly something special, need to rewatch it at some point again to comprehend the visual insanity it has going on.
Has some solid themes yet simple too, some of which are very relevant in todays climate despite this movie being made in 2019. It really nails what it's going for.
Watched it Dubbed, and the dub cast was great, really gave it their all.
Movie almost feels like it's a parody at times, with how over the top it truly gets, however despite all that it just still stays very ernest and continues to play itself serious at maximum flashiness.

And considering it moved so fast while also being 2 hours long, it's amazing how much it really covered.
I do also wish that Galo and Lio had more screen time together too, just to help really solidify their teamwork, but that's a minor nitpick. More would be better and what's here is solid.
Only gripe i have really is that the scene after the first battle is a little too exposition heavy, feels a little clunky with how it's all delivered. However I also understand that it kind of needed to be out there as fast as possible for the rest of the movie to remain at the pace it did.

Action is phenomenal, despite it being always amped up to 11, it still remains readable through amazing shot composition and framing.
The designs for the characters are simple yet super flashy at the same time which really helps them stand out.
Trigger once again just blows my mind with the sheer animation quality and framing they constantly put out through this movie.
Not to mention the hyper stylized nature of everything, special shoutout to the flame effects being seemingly entirely made up of tris and having that tie into the promare
Finally managed to watch Promare! Holy shit, what a visual spectacle. From start to finish i had a massive smile on my face the entire time.

Ending is interesting, at first felt it was a little out of nowhere but thematically it's quite fittingly cruel and sad despite all the hardship.
Overall I do enjoy this movie, but feel like it could have been executed a little better. It's still a strong 7.7/10
Despite all that, this movie still hits hard, it's so cruel at moments that you just can't help but feel so bad for these characters, did make me quite emotional at points.
Some of the deaths especially did hit very hard, and a few moments outside of that also hit as well thanks to the great acting
There are some pretty nasty things that are shown, and honestly feels tonally jarring, I don't hate it, really adds to the cruelty. But honestly didn't quite need to be as graphic to get that point across. Came across as almost schlocky at times.

I will say, some of the dialogue is very unsubtle, a lot of the characters kind of just directly spell out what they're feeling and it does detract a little from some of the believability/messaging with it being so direct.
Which is a shame in a movie which is mostly dialogue.
The rest of the "musketeers" are also fun characters, with a fair bit of heart to them. It makes it so much harder to watch these characters go through such a gruelling thing.
Other side characters are fairly interesting and mostly serve a purpose outside of just dying.
You spend most of the time just with the characters talking and walking, a lot of ideological back and fourth happens, and despite it being a triller/horror movie it has a fair few moments of levity.
Pete and Ray being the main focuses, they have a fun friendship that forms throughout the movie
As the premise and name suggests, the entire movie is following these characters walking for almost the entire runtime. With only a few moments at the start and a few at the end.
The most interesting thing is the setting, being some sort of alternate history 1970's dystopian America.
Watched The Long Walk (2025). A little mixed on this one, a simple premise of 50 young men being forced to walk at a steady pace until one remains, with those who fall behind being killed.

Overall not much else to say, The bonus free episodes they added post launch seem to be even better than some of the base game stuff so may come back to try them out, also interested in trying out their latest game about cars too!
Overall a decent 7/10
The best levels were definitely the multi-part ones, most of which ended with something very silly that completely subverted the previous levels.
Some levels were a little hit and miss, but the sheer variety of types is definitely commendable. Never a truly dull moment
Very fun chill game, mostly played it for little bits at a time after late shifts at work to relax. Not a super challenging game really, but had it's moments
