I think - oddly - that supernatural shows tend to present human behavior more realistically than other types of shows, even melodramas and things like that.

I mean, that often seems to be the case. As in, the human part is not the part that is fanciful. Y'know.

Because often in shows all the "good guys" have only *good* characteristics and all the "bad guys" have only *bad* characteristics.

Even the "charismatic bad guy" is almost always presented as having all these obvious red flags, and even the charm fits a stereotype.

It's realistic - even though they have a whole ghost element to it - in that, some folks are just not wanting to believe it because he acts like a nice guy around them.

So, he must not be someone who does bad things in private - and they're wrong.

I appreciate this.

There are dealing with a serious issue now - they are at the small town and doing a volunteer camp thing.

One of the men they are working with is harming his wife and they are in various levels of denial, and wondering if it's their business, and things like that.

We also seem to have two different shade of - got off on the wrong foot but will eventually fuck.
