Last week, we held a critical conversation on Canada’s complicity in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Despite the supposed ‘ceasefire,’ Gaza is still being starved, bombed, and invaded by Israel in real time with the support of Canadian-made weaponry.

I can only imagine how hard anyone, but especially an Indigenous woman, had to work to get nominated for this award.
