Hegseth is simply too stupid to realize the seriousness of his ineptitude in this action and the danger it engendered. To him, being no big deal, why would he ever consider resigning?

So much in our system has been based on acting in accordance with customs & traditions built up over decades, along with statutes built upon the Constitution. All of that is worthless when a cohort of people decide they’re not going to abide by those precepts.

Reminds me of the odd-even days on which we could buy gasoline here in NJ during the oil embargoes of the 70s.

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.
