I don’t live at home now nor do I get weekends off so I miss the slim chances of seeing anyone that leaves the northeast to visit my parents/join my parents in visiting them

Got my dads dads ‘celebration of life’ next Sunday and as lovely as it will be I can’t help but think that it’s likely gonna be the last time I see that side of the family.
Never really was given a chance of foster proper relationships with most of them, due to distance and whatever.
