Every global problem has many local solutions and power is just a way authoritarians push their will beyond themselves through a network of coordinated individual efforts. But it's just ppl doing stuff.

My strategy is find a side/passion project (that could also lead to a potential future nontraditional job) that is shared by at least one person I know and just take that step by step and see how it goes, adding on ppl and skills as needed

Plus I think when we learn history it's usually jumping in at the time when things either started or changed. Like sometimes it takes a couple generations before a country that goes authoritarian takes the steps necessary to become unauthoritarian again...

Just make sure it is a tablet with both wifi and 5G- that way you're always covered to get access to directions (make a great nav screen and magnet covers also prop it up), texting, and rideshare

I've never had a smartphone 😅 it's worked for me and highly recommend the book shaped cover bc it makes it more intentional bc there's a slight but of friction to engage with- have to open the cover on purpose

Need: software allows entering specific addresses & quickly combines them into an optimized series of stops for drop offs

Ppl using the app could hail a bus once they reached a group of a minimum size or fit into a currently running bus' dropoff path

It's like carrying a notebook if you get a book-like case, so you have the capabilities of a smartphone but it helps break the smartphone habits and norms

Yep same- I just do it all on a mini tablet 😝

You can do voip/Google voice numbers on a 5G enabled mini tablet and flip phone for actual calls/portability- best of both worlds imho bc the mini tablet is great for reading e books, working on documents and browsing and the flip phone only needs charging every few days
