I am amazed at how quickly I was able to get back into the groove with the hard round brush. It’s a little more work, and a LOT more polished looking. I’m wondering if I -should- embrace the hard round brush.

Based on what little you see, which version do you like best?

One entertaining thing that has come up recently is hearing people talk about artists like they do pokemon. "Oh you have a [insert artist name]? I have one, too!"

And then they share their commissioned pieces by the artist. It's a lot of fun.

It's not my favorite brush. It sparked my interest in finding brushes that suit my taste and eventually led me to procreate! I love textured brushes, and my style does not lend well to the smooth commercial look the hard round brush gives

I've entered that time of year where day working is no longer an option. It's too hot for my computer to run.

I'm fine with nighttime work but it's terribly inconvenient right now. I can't wait for winter again 😩

It came back to me a lot faster than it would, but procreate softens the edges with how the engine works, so I might switch the project to CSP to get a more Photoshop-like brush engine. This was 2.5 hours of work!

I haven't used the hard round brush in 10 years and decided to try it out again.

While leveling through Harandar, I felt nostalgic for my Sylvari.

It's been a while.

One of my 2026 goals was to finish a new manuscript. Ever since I messed up my submission to a writing contest, I haven’t had the will to write at all. The desire, yes, but when I sit down to write I just get eugh.

It was embarrassing, but back then I was sheltered and prudish, so the nude form was a first. Now I've grown out of that bashfulness and can view nude and naked forms without blushing. I don't have the skill to draw it still, but that just takes practice. Idk if it's an interest though.

In college I regularly got in trouble during life drawing class because I would render everything but a certain area lmao. My professor told me to grow up 😔 LOL

He is muscular, but his face is gaunt enough to see the thin outline of his eye sockets, and his hair is white.

I don’t usually do NSFW but I tried it with my DK, Ihdrelon. Really loose sketching. I dunno if I’ll render it more, but it was good practice on things I don’t normally get to draw.

It just seems odd the canon has Kaldorei opening back up to DHs but the roleplay community doesn't want to progress like that.
