We also found a BC puppy on the road when I was little ! We named him Kipper (after the TV show) and gave him to our grandparents who lived in rural Ireland surrounded by fields and farmland and he was in heaven LOL

I will say both of ours were rescues, so we didn't intentionally choose the highest energy breed possible LOL

My family have had a BC mix and a purebred working BC and good god.. never again. The purebred especially needed like SO much more than a regular household could ever provide tbh. She would have been AMAZING on a farm. (Sadly had to be euthanised due to rage syndrome)

Mental stimulation is DEFINITELY a good shout ! I just hated the way this person was basically saying "I do an hour of walking every day that's SOOO much" when like. It's absolutely nothing to a collie LOL

It definitely does, but I don't think ANY border collie, working bred or not, would be satisfied with just an hour leisurely walk a day 😭 Mine definitely wasn't !

Genuinely despise that border collies are so common and people think an hour leisurely walk a day or chucking the ball for 30 mins is enough BC oh my god they were bred to run at full speed for MILES for like. The whole day !!!

My rabbit died from shock when he escaped the cage and got caught in some wire. It was one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever experienced. They're SUCH sensitive animals, it's BAFFLING that this guy even has rabbits still alive.

Am I going insane ??? Like can people watch his videos (shorts, specifically) and tell me if they see what I'm seeing or not ?????

I am by NO MEANS a rabbit expert, but I DO have a lot of both professional and personal animal care experience and training, and a zoology degree. AND.. basic fucking common sense! And I cannot FATHOM why people think this is good?

It makes me feel so fucking FERAL when I see the comments all praising him or viciously defending him when anyone has an issue with anything. I have absolutely no idea what to do other than rant BC it makes me SO MAD.

He pops up in my YouTube shorts every fucking week even though I have blocked him and REPEATEDLY said for YouTube to not show me his videos again. I have tried reporting his videos with clear abuse and nothing happens. I am SO SICK OF HIM.

He says rabbits don't belong inside as pets and have to be kept outside, is AGAINST spaying and neutering ("I'm not letting vets take any parts out of my animals!!", absolutely fucking MANHANDLES scared rabbits for no reason, and like. So much. He posts SO OFTEN there's SO MUCH

He puts the rabbits in VERY stressful situations in purpose to 'socialise them' (by making then too stressed to attack each other), he has listed videos of rabbits on the beach literally in heat stress, lets them breed pretty freely and birth their babies in the ground outside

He pins his rabbits down when they act dominant over others to 'show them who is boss' (He has DOZENS of rabbits and let's them all intermingle even when they HATE each other, are actively attacking, and even when there are MAJOR size and age differences)

He yanks VERY STRESSED rabbits around on harnesses outside for 'enrichment' or whatever, brings them to the beach on hot days on the hot sand in wire pens they escape from and get dangerously stuck in, keeps all his rabbits on EXTREMELY thin/sharp wire bottom cages, lets them run FREE in public

PLEASE report his videos when you see anything that looks like abuse. He puts rabbits into pools to make them swim, caused the death of a wild baby rabbit (one of his most popular shorts videos trying to 'save' it, and a LOT more shit.

There's a guy on YouTube with over 100k subscribers and millions of views on his videos that straight up abuses rabbits. And people SUPPORT him and call him a rabbit expert.

I see comments under his videos saying "I'm getting a rabbit soon thanks to you, I'm learning so much!" and it makes me ILL.
