I just. Feel like I need to give myself some slack for being slow because I'm still getting way more done than I think normal people would be able to in my situation LOL

I came home from being hospitalised with anaphylaxis and immediately started working on comms again lol

To 'normal' people I probably seem lazy and like I never do much comparatively but you can bet your ass they'd be off work absolutely BEDRIDDEN if suddenly they had to deal woth the health issues I do.

I'm still working my irl job AND commission work through it which I've been told is a bad idea by both my GP and hospital specialists but I literally cannot afford not to so 🥲

All this new immune system stuff is ON TOP OF my other chronic conditions I've already dealt with for years :')

Like people that don't deal with chronic pain genuinely just do not understand how Built Different I am to be able to even function at all in society rn.

Not to sound like weirdly boastful but I feel like if other people could experience the level of chronic pain and discomfort and everything I have been experiencing on a daily basis for the past few months they would be baffled how I manage to get as much done as I do.

I am genuinely worried that I'm gonna start being super angry and snapping at people because I am already predisposed to uncontrollable outbursts and god I really don't wanna be MORE like that

Instead of giving me more steroids, a medication that actually WORKS to stop me going into anaphylaxis again, I've been given a medication with common side effects being hallucinations, insomnia and aggression. And it probably won't even work to stop it.
