Last year you helped Lowri have life changing cataract surgery. Her family want you to know she’s doing great,

‘Lowri enjoyed her first walk off-lead walk on the beach & smashed it, behaving impeccably. She’s such a character, helps lift Jane’s spirits when treatment is giving her a tough time.’

A little update on Carlo 🧡 He is doing ok following his eye removal last week. He’s walking in the garden, getting used to things, the painkillers are working and yesterday’s vet check went well. He’s being well looked after by his sister Molly. Thank you for helping this sweet boy and his family.

Bertie’s arrived with Clare & will have all he needs to live happily. He has lymphoma but is doing well and whatever happens, we are there for him. His story can be found on our website.

CARLO’s had a haircut to help him be as comfy as possible while he recovers from surgery which happens tomorrow. While it’s sad he will lose his eye, we know he’ll be better without it and feel much better. Please join us in sending him and Isobel lots of love, it will be an anxious time 🧡 🧡🧡

We recently moved house, she’s named her after the lovely man, Robin, who filled the house with love for many years. Secondly I associate robins with holly, a dedication to the memory of the little puppy who gave me so much joy for 17 years, and inspired me on this incredible journey of adopting’

‘I lost my first mini schnauzer Holly in December. I brought her home on Friday 27th February 2009; it feels like all the stars aligned to have brought Robyn home 17 years later to the exact date and day. Robyn's birthday is also the day after Holly's.

Why I named her Robyn...

Brenda has been snuggling her and playing with her, chasing around the garden and house like lunatics at times!’

Brenda was adopted last year by Rachelle and has been flourishing. Robyn’s other adoptive sister, Ivy is more reserved and taking time to suss her out.

Although the outcome was not at all what anyone hoped for, your support allowed Ernie and his family to share precious time together, and a peaceful end to his life. Thank you, and please know that everything you ever do for the charity means that we can be there when most needed.

"He had a good final day. We gave him lots of cuddle and took him outside to feel the sun on his face. I laid next to him all night so he wasn’t alone. I’m absolutely heartbroken. Thank you once again for your support, you certainly made this horrible situation easier."

Very sadly the findings showed a catastrophic tumour. There was nothing that could be done but to keep him comfortable and prepare for the end.

Ernie was able to spend a little time at home with his family. Despite being full of energy all day, he collapsed late on Saturday night. His family say,

Last week we were contacted as Ernie required urgent care. We quickly processed an application for charitable assistance and everything was swiftly put in place. We liaised with Ernie's family and veterinary team who worked to stabilise him while establishing the cause of his alarming symptoms.
