finally. this road was really bad in the dark and rain. but itβs fine now! glad I wasnβt proved right with evidence that itβs βan accident waiting to happenβ.
(but it was)
itβs all coming back to me
26.11.2024 22:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0easy to be alarmed about Kingston council temporarily closing a key town centre facility because of the roofβ¦ but I donβt think thereβs any significant worry here really
hereβs a Facebook update from the councillor who does the most to tell people whatβs going on
plausible. but thatβs not a big draw, Iβll be honest
24.11.2024 13:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0I've registered my comments and I'd urge you to too. I was a councillor when this last came to committee, and we made the strong case that keeping the bike lane was imperative. nothing's changed
we either support safe sustainable travel or we don't
allow more time to promote other things the town offers, while people who run markets can run the market.
itβs literally market forces
this is welcome - with caveats about protecting public events in the space
Kingston First spends too much bandwidth on running this area which, imo, doesnβt represent good value to BID payers (I pay three lots of levy)
a bit of a Banquet / Tolley in The Times today. itβs a well written piece. you can tell we were talking, not typing.
best quote is βTolley is tall, rangy and talkative.β had to google rangy. phew, itβs fine
anyway, deal is Banquet / Kingston gigs continue to be newsworthy
Tolley is tall, rangy and talkative.
20.11.2024 23:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0the one thing Iβm clear on on this farmers protest, is Iβm not qualified enough to say whatβs right and wrong on it

16.11.2024 03:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0of course there's history here. it's not just about what Bacchus in the noughties, which certainly defines who i was (and became)...
but it's also about right now. I believe in nightclubs. and this underground dungeon is a proper staple of Kingston nights out. long may it continue. I'm in.
today, my 4 year old told me Allah was in the sky, even in Australia, and Africa and even Norbiton!
15.11.2024 08:55 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0turned up to tonight's Kingston Council meeting but it's one in one out. or as @gekins.bsky.social says, it's "one out one in" which is a nonsense.
who says nightlife is dead?
