Sony made a ton of money off the PS5 generation just taking a cut from live service games. More so then they did selling games on PC.

As much as I'd like this all on PC it makes financial sense Sony needs to move units.

I heard its cause next Xbox will be a PC that can run Steam. Along with the Steam Machine being announced it means being on PC has competing "consoles" with their game.

Sony also announced to shareholders last year that PS5 is racking in money just skimming off live service games.
