Like almost all the weapon innovation things are melee only. And like 2 out of the 3 ranged only ones give it ranged trip :V

Plus why can melee weapon inventor use Big Smasha and Big Lightning. But ranged can only Big Lightning, is rude.

Nah, I feel like it plays very differently to other classes. Being a class almost entirely focused on risk reward with dozens of press actions with extremely powerful crit success and crit fail effects on them. It's like the anti-swashbuckler

Yeah, but that -1 to everything really hurts when your big cool flashy class feats have amazing critical success things and extra painful crit fail things on them.

Like, if you can get to level 15 and instantly get the ability to throw a tarrasque, then I feel like wearing medium armor and running a little bit isn't that far fetched

Yeah. I talked about it on my stream that like, the class gets temp HP equal to half your level when you get adrenaline. But that's it's level 19 class feature. The only other option is a level 10 1-action day to give yourself a lil temp HP until you lose adrenaline. So it only lasts 1 round

The same fix they gave the Exemplar. Medium armor proficiency.

The one with +7 strength and 50 feet speed :V

Yeah! You could have low to hit, low to dodge and middling HP!

Vs building for max Dex you can max out your AC and HP and be chillin' just fine with the acrobatics maneuvers + finesse weapons. Of which Breakaway Attack is one :V

I think Daredevil suffers from the playtest Exemplar problem. It's Str or Dex focused, with a ton of feats split between doing acrobatics or athletics to CC and hurt enemies!

But only light armor training...

So if you build for max Str, you gotta dump your Con for Dex and explode in 1 hit.
