Strong policy around removing motor traffic from village/town/city centres would be a start so that antis cannot make constant costly appeals against such measures. So time wasting/futile. Investing in better #PT #cycling will help achieve targets.

This is on a designated #cycleroute from #Blackfriars to #OldSt and beyond. Given #Smithfield is going to be a building site for prob yrs why is there no designated diversion for #cycling. As a non commuter it was seriously dangerous/counterintuitive to navigate.

What would really work is proper connectivity all the way west for eg incl @rbkc.gov.uk #KenHighSt then it’d be as busy all day/night as commuter times. And yes with flow on each side @rantyhighwayman.bsky.social @londoncycling.bsky.social
