Still the same issue, “goy” is a singular noun, not an adjective. “A cis” doesn’t scan right.

This is pretty much exactly right, with the small grammatical quibble that “goyim” is a plural noun, not an adjective, so a better analogy would be “goyim = cisgenders” (which I almost never see used)

You said "the main thing being inculcating enjoyment in the process of learning or using the skills being taught seems really strange to me" and as a 30-year educator at both the secondary and college levels this seems absolutely baffling to me

Literally *everyone* who has ever worked hard at acquiring *any skills at all* (baking, playing flute, lifting heavy weights, building a deck) knows that "enjoying the work" and "learning skills" go hand-in-hand. Why should "doing math" be the one exception to an otherwise universal experience?

It's basic human nature to take satisfaction and pleasure in learning how to do something well -- and if you *don't* take pleasure and satisfaction in the effort, *you will never learn to do it well* because there is nothing to help you overcome your failures.

Seems really strange to mean that people *should not, by default*, take enjoyment in learning and using skills. Why do you think people have woodworking shops in their basement, or spend hours learning and practicing a new knitting pattern, or work on skateboarding tricks? (cont'd)
